The Story

Humanity's last sanctuary was built on a lie.

Elara Vane has spent her entire life believing her father saved humanity from extinction.

Protected from the frozen Antarctic wasteland inside the towering arcology known as Arborealis, its citizens live under a carefully maintained belief: they are all that's left.

But when a mysterious message leads Elara into forgotten tunnels beneath her home, she discovers an abandoned artificial intelligence, impossible secrets, and Riff—a young man whose existence should be impossible.

Together, they begin unraveling a conspiracy that reaches back to the founding of Arborealis itself.

The Arcology

Engineered like a machine. Alive like a forest.

Arborealis is both sanctuary and system.

Glass, steel, water, agriculture, artificial intelligence, and controlled ecosystems are layered vertically into a single self-contained city.

Its beauty is deliberate. Its efficiency is essential. Its organic spaces soften the machinery that keeps thousands of people alive.

But every closed system has pressure points—and beneath Arborealis, forgotten infrastructure tells a very different story about how the city was built.

Below the Surface

The deeper she goes, the less the story holds together.

Forgotten technology, industrial crimes, hidden systems, and a buried intelligence turn the lower levels of Arborealis into a second world—one the city above was never meant to see.

Two Worlds

Nature and technology were never opposites.

Arborealis was designed to make them dependent on each other. The question is whether that balance was ever as stable—or as ethical—as its creators claimed.
